Domestic Violence Victim Refuses to File Report

A woman contacted police at 5:07 pm to report that a man had beaten and cut her. Police lost the call but called her back. 

She said she had warrants and did not want to provide any further details to the police. She did not provide a description, but officers still checked the area. They were unable to locate the assailant. 

Under the Influence

A caller reported a man in a camo hat staggering in the 1100 block of Young Street at 5:31 pm. Police were unable to locate him.

Grand Theft Auto

A 5th Street caller reported a truck stolen from their home just before 7:30 pm. Police obtained a statement from the victim and his son and took information for a report.

Forty-five minutes later, a Harding Avenue caller reported someone stole her vehicle while she was inside a home picking up her children. Police took information for a report.

Ex Threatens to Shoot Woman

Officers were called to Kendall Avenue just after 8:30 pm by a woman who said her ex and his new girlfriend were threatening to shoot her.  

She said she was not afraid of the woman, but scared of the man. She said he’d not been violent during their relationship but liked to run his mouth. 

Police advised her about the process of filing a protection order.
