27 Ohio Men Busted In Child Sex Sting

Suspects

Law enforcement arrested 27 Ohio men they say wanted to have sex with kids. It was all part of a four-day sting called “Operation Moving Target.”  The undercover operation happened over a four-day period from Monday, August 24 to Thursday, August 27. The Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was in charge of the operation.

Undercover officers posed online as kids to catch predators in the act.  The 27 men, who ranged in age from 21 to 61, though they were talking to kids on social media. They engaged in sexually explicit conversations and even sent pictures of their genitals

Instead of heading out to pick up the suspects, Cuyahoga County, Ohio law enforcement got the guys to come to them. They set up shop in a vacant house and told the suspects they could come there to have sex with children.

Officers took them into custody when they arrived at the house. Among the items police took off these guys were:

Police hauled them off to the Cuyahoga County Jail.

The Suspects

Initial charges filed against these guys include:  Attempted Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juveniles, Importuning, and Possessing Criminal Tools. A Cuyahoga County grand jury will hear the cases.
