Officers responded to the Dollar Tree on 5th Street for a report of a woman causing a problem. She left the area before officers arrived.

Woman Found Dead on Sycamore Street

Just after 3 pm, a caller discovered a deceased woman on Sycamore Street. Several units responded to the scene and contacted the coroner.
Police determined there was no criminal activity involved and the coroner transported the deceased.

Officers stood by to offer support to Children Services while they performed a welfare check at a 16th Street home Just before 4 pm.

Trashing Greenlawn

Just after 4 pm, a caller reported a woman throwing trash all around Greenlawn Cemetery. Police detained the woman determined she was having mental health issues. An ambulance transported her to SOMC.
