Cops Called After High School Haunted House Turns Rough

A caller contacted Portsmouth Police after they said a high school haunted house got out of control. 

East High School hosted a haunted house with students portraying characters. A caller complained that a teen got rough and made physical contact with other kids. 

Officers took down the information and forwarded it to the school resource officer. 

Kids Accused of Brass Knuckle Assault at Woodbine Apartments

A body contacted Portsmouth Police Officers on Saturday night to report that three other kids had attempted to assault him with brass knuckles. 

The boy said three kids approached him at the Woodbine Apartments because they had a beef with him over a girl. He said he was ready to fight until one boy pulled out brass knuckles. 

Officers contacted the boy’s father and attempted to locate the suspect kids without success.

Kids Busted at Spartan Stadium

Multiple juveniles found themselves in trouble with the law after witnesses spotted them near the construction trailers at Spartan Stadium. 

Police detained them, but the juvenile court gave the go-ahead for police to release the kids to their parents, who would be required to bring them to court first thing in the morning. 

Police transported the kids home.
