Catalytic converter thieves hit the Knittel Service Center on Lincoln Street for the second night in a row. A witness saw someone crawl out from under a car.

Police found that two areas of the fence were cut but they were unable to tell if any parts were missing from cars.

Lending a Hand

Officers were asked to help a hospital locate the family members of a Portsmouth couple hospitalized at St. Mary’s after a crash.

The pair weren’t doing well and the hospital was unable to contact family members. PPD was able to deliver a message.

Mom Wants Son Arrested

A mom asked police to arrest her son just before noon. She said she had a funeral to attend and wanted him picked up on an open warrant so she wouldn’t have to worry about him breaking into houses while she at the funeral.

Playing Hooky

A mom called the police to intervene after her autistic son refused to go to school and threatened to throw a brick at his mom.
