Holly Euton~McGhee

Law enforcement officials say 60-year-old Holly Euton~McGhee of McDermott gunned down her boyfriend on Sunday morning, and now she’s facing aggravated murder charges.

Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman says a neighbor called 911 around 9:30 am to report a shooting on Euton Road in McDermott.  A few minutes later, a woman called in, saying she’d shot her boyfriend.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they found Robert Dean Lewis, 67, of Otway, who had been shot multiple times, lying on the ground. Despite medics transporting him to St. Mary’s Hospital via air ambulance, he died from his injuries.

Officers charged Euton-McGhee with aggravated murder, felonious assault, and obstructing official business.

Sheriff Thoroughman stated that this is still an ongoing investigation that could result in more charges at a later date. Anyone with information should contact Detective Sergeant Jodi Conkel at 740-351-1091
