Deputies are investigating a report of a sex offense at Shawnee Lodge.
The incident was reported to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 9:30 am on Saturday morning. The reporting party said the incident happened the night before.
Since the alleged crime happened at Shawnee State Park, deputies contacted the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to report the crime.

ODNR said the closest officer was in Ross County, but they would immediately head to the scene.
