A quick-thinking 8-year-old was able to summon help for their mother after a scary incident just after 11 p.m.
The child found their mother unconscious in the shower and called 911 for help. When medics arrived on the scene, the pregnant woman told them she had accidentally taken more than the prescribed amount of her anxiety medication and passed out.

The kids are in the custody of a relative and were visiting their mom for the weekend. The relative’s boyfriend left work to care for the children until the relative was able to arrive to pick them up.
Medics transported the mother to the hospital to be treated for taking too much prescription medication and for the fall.
