A Trip for Coke Turns Creepy Fast

It started with what seemed like a disgruntled customer. According to the victim and store manager, the man came in angry because, during a previous visit, the employee hadn’t shown him where the Coke was. That’s when things escalated quickly. ❗Disturbing Allegations from the Victim: He loudly asked if she "did hardcore drugs or smoked grass" He said he was a “pervert” and commented she “looked 15” He told her he’d be “better than any college boyfriend” Claimed he knew they both lived nearby Suggested they could “talk on his porch” When she told him she wasn’t interested, he became increasingly agitated. The Threat The situation took a chilling turn when the man allegedly asked the employee if she carried a gun. When she declined to answer, he said he had one—and then ominously warned her: "Watch your back. Anyone can come through the doors. We don’t know the end." Although he later attempted to reassure her he wasn’t “interested,” the damage was done. The threat, the vulgar comments, and the implication of violence left the employee visibly shaken. 🧾 The Manager's Response The store manager was quick to act, supporting the employee and requesting that the man be trespassed from the premises as soon as he can be identified. 👮♂️ Investigation Underway Authorities are currently working to identify the suspect. The victim believes the man lives nearby, possibly within walking distance of the store. 💡 A Broader Issue: Vulnerability Behind the Register Retail workers—especially young women working alone or in small teams—face growing risks of harassment, threats, and even physical violence. While stores are equipped with cameras and trained staff, that doesn’t always stop individuals from testing boundaries.
