Albert Lee Breech

Albert Lee Breech, 77, went to be with the Lord in his home on May 24, 2021, at 11:50 p.m.  He was born October 12, 1943, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Albert Verla Breech and Mary Lucy Mummert Breech.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Brenda Lute Breech.  They got married on May 3, 1964, in McDermott, Ohio.

Also surviving are two children, Kimberly and Tom Davis of Lucasville, Ohio and Scott and Angela Breech of Lucasville; six  grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Tyler and Mariah Breech, Brittany and Tate Reed, Hannah and Nick Shanks and Matthew and Rebecca Stevens; three great-grandsons, Noah and Liam Livingston and Asher Breech; five great-granddaughters, Briella Reed, Annie Breech, Azalea Reed, Eve Marie Shanks and Maira Reed; a special grandson, Luke Lindamood; two brothers, Andrew “Bob” and Barbara Breech and Terry and Janet Breech; sister in-law, Markeeta Wilson; three sisters, Sarah and Ron Throckmorton, Mary and Homer Davis, and Martha Campbell; and many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Russell Breech, and sister, Regina Stultz.

Albert was a very special man.  He was a carpet mechanic for 46 years and was employed by Empire Detroit Steel for 11 years.  He loved the Lord and was a minister and pastor of several churches.  He preached in over 72 churches in Ohio and Kentucky.  He also sang with family gospel group The Breech Family.  He always had a smile and was dearly loved by his family.  He loved to play with the grandchildren who always wanted him to go outside and play.  He loved the Lord and his family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Duck Run Community Church with Pastor Tyler Breech and Pastor Dave Lute officiating.  Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28th at the church.
