Alice Eileen Wright, 84, of Richmond Dale, Ohio, passed 8:30 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021, at The Vineyards at Concord, Frankfort, Ohio.
Alice was born on January 19, 1937, in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clifford Chaney and Helen (Leaverton) Chaney. On August 4, 1956, she was united in marriage to George Wright, who preceded her in death on December 26, 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory Wright and wife Julie of Chillicothe, Ohio and Timothy Wright and wife Stephanie of Wurtland, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Katrina Wright, Emily Wright, Ian Wright and wife Amy and Kendra Winchester and husband Samuel, two great-grandchildren, Jack and Audrey Wright, and sister, Sandy Burkholder and husband Larry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Paul Chaney and Edmund Chaney.
Alice had a passion for music and children’s ministry. For more than 60 years, she served in various churches as a pianist, choir director, and Sunday school teacher. Her greatest desire was to be a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her influence will impact generations to come.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2021, at Richmond Dale Baptist Church, Richmond Dale, Ohio, with Pastor Bill Nichols, Pastor Larry Burkholder, and Pastor Tim Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale, Ohio.
