Amy Denise Colegrove, 50, of Wheelersburg, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at SOMC Hospice. She was born November 21, 1975, in Portsmouth, a daughter of Sherrie Denise Frisby and the late Paul Richard Colegrove, Jr. Amy grew up in Chandler, Arizona, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University. She built a career as a dental hygienist for Dr. Nickell, a profession that reflected both her education and her dedication to caring for others. Amy gave her heart to the Lord and she will be remembered as a beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend.
Amy will be remembered with deep love by her family, her daughters, Kadence Michelle Dodridge, Kyla Jo Sloas; mother, Sherrie Frisby; sister, Michelle Hatfield; grandmother, Paula Jo Tackett and the late Clarence Tackett; her step-brother, Coty Martin; her step-mother, Tina Martin; the late Paul & Glorietta Colegrove, and many nieces and nephews.
