Anna Faye Parker, 79, of Portsmouth, passed away November 28, 2021, at SOMC. She was born November 23, 1942, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Martha Louise Hughes Carmichael and Oscar Franklin Diddle.
Ann had a warm and inviting home where her children, and all their friends, loved to spend their free time. She was also a member of Living Faith Temple.
Surviving is her husband, James Lee Parker, whom she married December 31, 1994, in Portsmouth; four children, Donricko Deleon Greene, Angla Lynn Leatherman, Pamela Jean Leatherman, and Sheila Marie Greene, all of Portsmouth; stepchildren, Carlos Lee Greene and William Noble Greene, both of Pontiac, MI, Lee Parker, Raye Parker, and Elizabeth Greene, all of Columbus and Courtney Parker of Portsmouth; a first cousin who was like a brother to Ann, Gary Lee Bonzo of Portsmouth; 26 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Ann was also preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Thomas Greene; a stepdaughter, Earlene Greene; and two stepsons, Thomas Earl Greene and Ronnie Lee Greene.
Funeral services will be held at 6 P.M. Friday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. Kelvin Parker officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 P.M. Friday. All unvaccinated individuals will be required to wear a mask and they will not be provided.
