Anthony W. Cooley, 63, of Sciotoville, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born May 7, 1961, in Portsmouth, a son of Warren Cooley and the late Flora (Mowery) Cooley.
He loved racing and building race cars. He also enjoyed being a mechanic and working on any kind of car.
Anthony is also survived by two sons, Anthony Cooley and wife Jackie of Lucasville and Paul Cooley of Portsmouth; three daughters, Destiny Cook, Tonya Cook both of Portsmouth and Faith Cooley of Sciotoville; a sister, Tammy Lake of Sciotoville; four grandchildren, Candice Eldridge, Keara Eldridge, Indionna Cooley and Matthew Cooley.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Lore, and a grandchild, Betty Eldridge.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 3, 2024, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM prior to services on Monday.
