Three folks who decided to misbehave saved themselves a trip to the Scioto County Jail by apologizing to their alleged victim.
Just after 8 pm, a caller walking along 17th Street said three people in a gray car threw water bottles at him and struck him. He managed to get the license plate and officers tracked the vehicle down parked behind the Sunset Lanes.
The officer went inside to talk to the group, which, according to the police log, was very nervous. After being read their rights, they apologized to the victim. The victim agreed not to press charges, and everyone went their separate ways.
