Assault and Fire on 14th Street

Police responded to a report of a shed fire and assault on 14th Street just after midnight.  

PFD extinguished the fire and contacted the Fire Marshal due to the nature of the fire. The assault victim positively identified the suspect from a photograph. Police learned PMHA security had video of both the assault and the fire.  

Police took information for a report.  

Passed Out at the Pump

At 4:30 am, police responded to the Super Quick on the Scioto Trail for a report of a man passed out behind the wheel of a truck at the pumps. 

Officers took the man into custody on an open warrant and arranged to have the vehicle towed.  

Overdose Victim Revived at the Royal Inn 

Just after 3 am, officers and EMS responded to the Royal Inn for a report of an overdosed woman not breathing.  

PFD medics revived the woman with Narcan and transported her to the hospital.
