Assault Reported at Middle School
A Mason, Ohio resident contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 2:17 pm to report they were assaulted Saturday evening at an area middle school.
The alleged victim said that the man who assaulted them is currently on probation. Officers took information for a report.
Child Bullied at School – Mom Seeks Help From Deputies
A worried mother contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report her child was being harassed at school by several other children.
She said she didn’t know whether or not she should contact the school. She wanted to know the procedure for taking out a protection order to protect the child.
Officers suggested the mom contact the school first, and follow up with them should the school fail to take action.
