Assault With a Bacon Sandwich
A woman contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report a domestic assault involving a highly unusual weapon.
She said she and her boyfriend were arguing, and he hit her in the neck with a bacon sandwich.
The man left before police arrived and was reportedly headed in the direction of Bonser Run Road.
Police got a good description but were unable to locate him.
Man Throws Bottle at Vehicle on US 52
Deputies responded to a report of a man throwing things at vehicles on US HWY 52 near Twin Bridges at 2:30 pm. The caller said he threw a bottle at a vehicle.
Police stopped the man at the 75/104 Exit to speak to him. He said he was walking from Waverly to Kentucky and had been maced by a passing vehicle. He refused offers of medical treatment.
A deputy gave him a ride to the end of the bridge.
Grandview Burglars Caught on Video
A caller contacted PPD just before 8 am to say that he heard someone inside a house he was in the process of buying from probate.
His wife had spotted a man on camera earlier in the morning. Items were missing from the home, but they did not want to file a police report.
