His devotion and compassion as a Resident Supervisor in the Self Reliance Group Home for Kids reflected his unwavering dedication to caring for others. Austin’s warm smile and kind words comforted those he served. His presence brought joy and positivity to every room he entered.

Austin love the desert, snuff, his boots, the gathering of juggalos and anything obscure. He loved fishing, collecting antiques and guns, and making people laugh. He loved his kids and enjoyed leggos, puzzles, and making bracelets.

Austin leaves behind his devoted wife, pride and joy, Halie Saunders, his mother, Theresa Blair, children, Malaylah, Demarius, Jayce, and Anthony, best friend Zachary Adkins, siblings: Stacy, Alex, Nancy, Jodie, Alison, Zach, Chris, Nicole, Aaron, Andrea and Ally, mother and father-in-law, Archie and Mary Ann Swords, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Their hearts are heavy with grief, yet filled with the beautiful memories of a life lived with love and kindness.
