More and more often these days, Portsmouth Police Officers are called in to handle things when kids start acting up.
Just before 10 a.m., a Washington Street caller reported multiple juveniles throwing rocks at windows in the area.

When officers responded to the scene, they did notice some scratches on a dumpster but didn’t see any broken glass.
When they caught up with the kids, they discovered they were already on probation. Officers took them into custody and released them to the juvenile court.
