Banks Indicted For Felonious Assault on Officer 

The Scioto County Grand Jury returned two felonious assault counts against a 32-year-old man Sciotoville man they say assaulted a police officer. 

We told you two weeks ago that Portsmouth Police arrested Tray Banks after a child ran to a neighbor’s house to say her mom’s boyfriend was hitting her and pushing her down and that the boyfriend had a gun.   

When officers got to the home, they detained Tray Banks and impounded a weapon.    

Police booked Banks into jail on two counts of domestic threat, having weapons while under a disability, aggravated menacing, and being fugitive from justice.  

According to the indictment, Banks caused serious harm to an officer at the jail. He’s due in Scioto County Municipal Court for arraignment on February 20.
