Barbara Irene Mustard, 69, of Waverly, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026 at her residence. She was born on March 28, 1957 in Elm Grove to the late Ottie Earl Mustard and Goldie Irene Newland Mustard.
Surviving are her brothers; David Mustard and Ronald Mustard and her sisters; Judy Lute, Beverly (Scott) Litteral and Deloris (Tom) Oyer. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers; Gary (Sharon) Mustard and Delmer Mustard; sister in law, Pam Mustard and brother in law; Jerry Lute; and a nephew, Dewayne Mustard. Barbara is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a 1976 graduate of Western Local School. She was a retired culinary specialist who retired from Pleasant Hill. Barbara was a devoted Christian and enjoyed attending Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Beavers Chapel Wesleyan Church with Pastor Terry Lawson and Casey McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Leeth Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
