A woman called 911 at 1:30 pm to report an assault on Bonser Run Road. She said her uncle came to her residence, hit her neighbor with a baseball bat, busted out a window at the home, and left. But not before someone broke the back window of his silver SUV with a rock.
Witnesses told offices the man was staying in a camper in West Portsmouth. Officers located the man, but he did not have a baseball bat on him.
They booked the man into the Scioto County Jail on an outstanding warrant for another matter and sent a detective down to interview the man about this case.
