Deputies responded to Smith Street (off 140 in Sciotodale) at 7:30 pm for a report of multiple people outside fighting. Witnesses said one of the combatants had a baseball bat, and another was holding a child.
Another caller reported three men, two women, and some children were blocking the road and screaming.
When officers arrived on the scene, they separated the parties. Officers noted a vehicle with smashed-out windows on the property, but there was no physical contact between the people involved. No one wished to file charges.
