Beverly Jane Entler, 81, of Portsmouth, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Buckeye Forest at Rosemount Pavilion. Born on September 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Owen and Mabel Alice Gray McGlone.
Beverly was a 1961 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and a longtime member of the former Bible Chapel Church. She was a home health aide and retired after nearly 20 years with Interim Health Care.
She was preceded in death on May 8, 2000, by her husband, James W. Entler, Jr. The couple were married on November 11, 1961, in West Portsmouth.
Surviving is her son, Tony (Tonya) Entler of Lucasville; a sister, Teresa A. Greathouse of Wheelersburg; three grandchildren, Christopher Entler, Rebecca Entler and Sara Entler; a special grandson, Matt Whisman, and his daughter, Hadley; and two great-grandchildren, Morgan Entler and Rain Mosley.
Beverly was also preceded in death by a son, Clyde Owen Entler; and five siblings, James Lee McGlone, Carl William McGlone, Owen Eugene McGlone, Roszenna Haislet and Sally Ann Adkins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Pastor Danny Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Saturday.
