Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a bizarre call at the Wheelersburg McDonald’s just before 4 pm. The manager said a man claiming to be Jesus had been in the restaurant for over six hours.
The caller said the man was now standing at the counter staring at employees in the kitchen. By the time officers arrived, the man had finally left the restaurant and headed to the car wash near Kroger.
When deputies caught up with him, they gave him a ride home. Officers spoke to the man’s brother, who said he had a medical condition that contributed to his behavior. The man refused to go to the hospital.
Officers spoke with the family about the possibility of getting a power of attorney over the man should he become dangerous to himself or others.
