An injured man turned up at the Portsmouth Police Department looking for help, but officers said a language barrier prevented them from understanding what he was talking about. Police also noted the man was heavily intoxicated and had vomited on the steps of the City Building before going to sleep.
They said he first said he drove to the station, then he claimed he ran and lost his shoes. At one point, he claimed children attacked him, though later, he claimed he had fallen. Officers noted that he did have an injury to the back of his head, so they called for an ambulance.

An ambulance transported him to SOMC. Officers told him to contact them when he sobered up if he wanted to make a report.
