Woman Calls 911 When Neighbor Flips Her Off

An upset woman called 911 to report that she’d caught her neighbor flipping off her security camera. She felt this act constituted a violation of a no-contact order.

Dispatch advised her that this was not an emergency and that she should call 411 and not 911. The woman then called back to 911 to ask what the number she needed to call was. Dispatch also advised her that there was not a standing no-contact order with her neighbor, so there was no violation.

Further, dispatch reminded her not to call 911 unless there was an emergency.
