Flying Pop Can Lands Man In Jail
Tossing a pop can landed a man in jail in Wayne Hills. Just after 2 pm, a woman contacted Portsmouth Police to say her former boyfriend had stopped by and tossed a can of pop at her before leaving the scene.
She described him as carrying a black backpack with the word “Honky” written on it in silver.
Officers caught up with him at a Kendall Avenue Apartment 20 minutes later. It turned out he had open warrants with both the PPD and the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
Police took him into custody for domestic violence, failure to appear, and falsification. This was his 7th arrest. His previous run-ins with the law were for DUI, grand theft, and contempt.
