Body Found in Camper
Just after 2:30 pm on Sunday, officers responded to a request for a welfare check at Anderson’s Trailer Park.
A concerned caller said a man who lived in a camper had been ill recently. They brought food to the man, but there was no answer.
A short time later, the caller said they had pried open a window and discovered what appeared to be a deceased individual inside. EMS responded to the scene and confirmed that the man was dead.
Officers contacted the next of kin, and the coroner gave permission to release the deceased to the funeral home of the family’s choosing.
Police took information for a report.
Coroner Investigates After Dead Body Discovered at Royal Inn
Officers discovered a deceased man at the Royal Inn on Sunday morning. Just after 11 am, employees contacted the police to report they couldn’t get into a room that was not supposed to be occupied. They said something appeared to be up against the door.
Officers assisted in forcing entry and discovered a deceased individual inside. Police contacted the coroner, who dispatched someone to take possession of the deceased.
Officers contacted the next of kin and arranged to have the man’s vehicle towed.
