Bomb Scare at the VA
Portsmouth Officers assisted the New Boston Fire Department after a report of a suspicious package at the VA Clinic in New Boston.
A Styrofoam cooler found inside a cardboard box fastened with black tape raised an alarm just after 11 am. Officers responded to the home of the woman who left it. It was discovered to be a drone and it was all a scary misunderstanding.
The woman had been to the VA to visit a medical professional and left behind the coolers because she wanted to donate them to the VA.
