A Kroger shoplifter kept passing out while attempting to shoplift at the store on Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses said the man was riding an electric shopping cart and had attempted to steal alcohol and cough syrup. However, he kept nodding out and eventually passed out inside the store.
When officers caught up with him, he asked the police to take him to the hospital, and they called for an ambulance.

Police did not arrest him since officers didn’t think the jail would take him in his current condition.
Medics transported the man to the hospital for treatment.
