Box Cutter Call Ends With Warrant Arrest

box cutter arrest

A report of a woman carrying a box cutter and threatening people brought Scioto County deputies to Lucasville, but no one involved was willing to cooperate or file charges.

The caller described a woman wearing black leggings and a purple tank top and said she was carrying a box cutter. The woman reportedly claimed that a man had tried to run her over with a four-wheeler.

Deputies caught up with the woman on Center Street and spoke with everyone involved.

A man told officers the woman had possessed a box cutter earlier that morning. However, he said the alleged weapon was not connected to the incident deputies were currently investigating.

According to the sheriff’s report, all parties refused to cooperate or make a formal report. No charges were filed in connection with the box cutter allegation or the claim involving the four-wheeler.

Deputies trespassed the woman from the area, meaning she was warned not to return to the property.

Although that dispute did not lead to charges, deputies did make an arrest at the scene.
