Brawler Tazed in JJs Shenanigans Fight
The new year started off with some excitement at JJs Shenanigans on Gallia Street. Just after 12:30 am a caller reported a large fight in progress and said one person had already been hit with a stun gun.
Officers and ambulances responded to the scene. Police took a man into custody.
Just before 2 am, a witness reported a large group outside the Party Time Bar on 4th Street. The crowd dispersed peacefully when officers arrived.
Florida Man Detained at Burger King
Officers detained a Florida mat at the Burger King on Gallia after witnesses reported an apparently high man in the road in front of the restaurant.
Police noted he had both Florida and Kentucky identification on him. Officers issued him a citation and advised him to stay out of the road.
Unlicensed Driver Arrested After Gallia Street Crash
Officers took a man with an open warrant into custody after a crash at Gallia and Young Streets on Friday afternoon.
Police arrested Brian Marshall on charges of failure to appear and driving with a suspended license. They arranged to have Marshall’s vehicle towed and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
Marshall was released after four days behind bars.
