Breaking – Man Arrested on Obscenity Charges

Law Enforcement arrested a 27-year-old Scioto County man Monday afternoon on serious charges involving distributing obscenity and sharing harmful material with kids. 

Police booked Nicholas Ranieri into the Scioto County Jail for pandering obscenity and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

Pandering obscenity means the person is accused of creating, reproducing, buying, or selling obscene material.  The charge could result in up to a year in jail.

Disseminating matter harmful to juveniles means the person has intentionally shared harmful material with someone under 18. If convicted, the person could face up to 180 days in jail.
