Brenda Lynn Beattie, 67 of Piketon passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at her residence. She was born on July 23, 1958 in Columbus to the late John Hill, Jr. and Judy Stoltzsonburg Hill of Minford. On August 22, 1980, she was united in marriage to Charles Kenneth Beattie, Jr. of Piketon. In addition to her husband and her mother, Brenda is survived by her children; Jason Nathaniel (Chantal Guionnaud) Beattie of Indianapolis, Indiana and Nicole (Shawn) Drown of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Cole Beattie, Aubrey Drown, Jonathan Guionnaud and Emmalynn Beattie; and her siblings, Ruth Beekman of Wheelersburg, Janet Wickline of Minford, Vince Hill of Jackson and Mary Bailey of Jackson. In addition to her father, Brenda was preceded in death by her brothers; John Hill and Eric Hill.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
