Business Owner Threatened with Gun/Knife

A Waller Street business owner contacted officers just after 7 pm to report that two men had threatened to pull a gun and knife on him.

One man was described as shirtless with a beard, and the other wore black sweats. Police caught up with the men at 18th and Robinson and took one of them into custody on an open warrant. 

The business decided not to press charges.

Held at Gunpoint – Security Guard Catches Burglar in the Act

A security guard at Solid Rock Construction caught a man attempting to break in the business’s back door just before 10 pm.

The guard briefly held the man at gunpoint, but the would-be burglar took off. Officers checked the area but could not locate the man. They said nothing appeared to be disturbed and saw no signs of forced entry.
