Just after 7:30 a.m., PPD received a call about a break-in at a local 2nd Street business. An employee of the dairy bar said someone had broken into Blevins Auto Sales and ransacked the business. Officers took information for a report.
At 10:40 a.m., officers were called to Branch Rickey Park when an SSU coach reported a break-in with multiple items missing.
Someone cut the chain to a golf cart at the baseball field and stole it. A Stihl weed eater and leaf blower were also missing. Officers took information for a report.
