Busy Day for First Responders in Scioto County: EMS Runs High, Crime Stays Steady

It was a full slate for first responders in Scioto County on Monday, June 9, as emergency medical crews stayed on the move, deputies tackled a variety of calls, and several communities reported criminal activity or public disturbances. In total, there were 70 logged incidents across the county involving EMS, fire, and law enforcement. 

🔥 EMS Calls Dominate Monday 

EMS personnel were dispatched to 34 medical emergencies across the county, making up nearly half of all calls. Here’s a breakdown: 

Scioto County’s EMS teams clearly had their hands full, covering everything from residential neighborhoods to roadside incidents. 

🚔 Crime and Complaint Calls 

On the law enforcement side, Scioto County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) logged a wide range of complaints and incidents, including: 

Alarm drops (three in total), civil processes, vandalism (Green Street), and ATV complaints (Paradise Lane) rounded out the law enforcement action.
