Bystanders Come To Aid Of Elderly Driver

Quick-thinking bystanders came to the aid of an elderly driver who appeared to be having some type of crisis on US 52.  

Just before 7 pm, callers reported spotting an elderly man with damage to his car driving with no headlights. The drivers got the man to pull over and noticed he appeared to have urinated on himself.

Bystanders said the man tried to run into traffic, and they were attempting to hold him until help arrived. He finally got back inside the vehicle but had difficulty unlocking it once officers and EMS made it to the scene.  

An ambulance transported the man to the hospital.
