Calvin Andrew Kerns II, 36, of Peebles, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born January 29, 1988, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Calvin Andrew Kerns and Shirley Hiser Kerns of Peebles.
Also surviving are his children, Wyatt Kerns, Calvin Andrew Kerns III, Jordan Bidix, Skyler Bidix, and Kenny Ray Simpson all of North Carolina; siblings, Lena Kerns of Peebles, Sharon Kerns of Peebles, Rachel Franklin of Peebles and Quintin Kerns of Peebles; and many nephews and nieces and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arnett and Joann Hiser, Charlie Kerns, and Carolyn Wooten.
Calvin was a 2007 graduate of Western High School. While in high school he attended the Pike County CTC for electricity. Calvin loved to write songs, sing, and play the guitar and he also loved to draw.
Services in care of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
