Carl D. Cook

Carl D. “Pork” Cook, 64, of South Webster, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born December 14, 1960, in Portsmouth, a son of Patsy (Keller) Cook and the late Jesse Junior Cook, Jr.

Pork was a carpenter for Cook Construction, enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cornhole, playing cards and watching football. He also enjoyed doing anything outside and was always helping others. Pork was a US Army Veteran

Besides his mother, he is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Kimberly Reese; two sons, Carl Michael Cook of Springfield and Jesse (Brigitte) Cook of Sciotoville; a daughter, Cynthia (Dianna Logan) Cook of South Webster; three brothers, Jimmy Cook, Ronnie Cook and Danny (Tonaya) Cook all of South Webster; two sisters, Theresa (Wayne) Risner of Minford and Denise (Doug) Gregory of South Webster; grandchildren, Jacob Cook, Nehemiah Cook, Julia Cook, Isaiah Reese, Xavier Plummer and Lindsey Reese; along with Tiffany Reese and Jeremy Wicker who were like children to him.

Pork was also preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Cook, and special young man who was like a son to him, Timothy Reese.

Funeral Services will be 12 Noon Monday, July 21, 2025, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Gary Chaffins officiating.  Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery with Military Honors provided by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be 10 AM to 12 Noon Monday at the funeral home.
