Carolyn Sue Cooper, 82 of West Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born January 10, 1940, in Scioto County to the late Charles and Dora Barnhart Barber.
She was a homemaker and a member of Dry Run Church of Christ. She loved feeding and watching the birds.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Ruth McNeil.
Carolyn is survived by 2 sons: Russell Eugene (Sue) Wilson III and Randall Lee (Oneida) Wilson, a daughter Vickie (Andy) Stanley, a brother, James (Debbie) Barber and a sister Barbara (Richard) Phillips, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Scioto Burial Park with Rick Phillips officiating. Friends may gather at the cemetery starting at 1:00 PM.
