Charles Virgil “Tim” Salyers, 83, of Lucasville, OH passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at SOMC Hospice Center, Portsmouth, OH. He was born October 16, 1942, to the late William and Lucy (Sparks) Salyers and preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue (Berry) Salyers.
After graduating high school, Charles served his country in the United States Air Force. Charles was the Southern Regional Manager for TL Express Trucking Company.
He was an avid sports fan that liked watching the Cincinnati Bengals, the Reds and the Kentucky Wildcats, but truly loved attending his grandchildren’s games, until he began having health issues. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother: William Salyers. Those left to celebrate his life are a daughter: Lisa Salyers; two sons: Timmothy Joseph (Sandy) Salyers and William Robert (Rhonda) Salyers; four grandchildren: Ian, Justin, Kolton, Bryce Salyers and a granddaughter: Elliana Grace Salyers.
A funeral service will be 11:00am, Friday, November 14, 2025, at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home, 11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH with Jim Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 5:00pm-7:00pm.
