Cheryl Lynn Taylor (Butler), 58 went to her reward in heaven on Wednesday, October 18, 2022.
Born in Portsmouth, Ohio to Virgil and Dolores Meadows. She was a graduate of Portsmouth High School. She attained a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Marshall University.
She had worked as a legal aide and secretary. Later on in life, she worked for Child Protective Services. After she moved to Indiana, she worked for the welfare department in the FSSA. She also enjoyed her volunteer work with NAMI. She loved her puppies, Scarlette, Punkin, and Tootsie.
She was preceded in death by her parents. And her late husband James Taylor. She is survived by her husband Barney Butler, Fairmount, Indiana, a daughter, Shellyn Taylor, and a grandson Cayden, both of Savannah, Georgia.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 14, 2023, at the Park Shelter house in Fairmount, Indiana, from 1 to 4 p.m.
