Child Allegedly Assaulted at School
Two incidents at Sciotoville Schools kept Officers busy on Wednesday.
An upset woman contacted police at 7:45 am to claim that money she’d spent on a fundraiser for Sciotoville East Academy was stolen.
She said she sent in $84 for a fundraiser but decided she did not want the flowers. She claimed she requested a refund from the school, which they refused. Police advised her it was a civil matter.
At 8:30 am, a worried grandma contacted officers to report her grandson was assaulted at Sciotoville Community School. She said the school was calling the police as well and that she would meet officers outside the building.
Officers spoke to school personnel, obtained video from the school, and took information for a mutual combat report.
