Child Assaulted at Portsmouth Cinema
Just after 7:30 pm, officers responded to the Portsmouth Cinema for a report that a juvenile had been beaten up in the bathroom.
However, when officers arrived on the scene and began an investigation, the child’s grandfather showed up and refused to press charges. Police offered to get an ambulance for the victim, but that was declined.
Tatted Man Tweaks at Kroger
Just after noon, a caller reported a tattooed man in a “wife beater” shirt “tweaking out” near the pharmacy at Kroger.
Witnesses said he wore a hat and headphones and was pushing a cart around. Police located the man in Tracy Park and advised him to stay out of the Kroger store or face going to jail.
Woman Arrested For Child Endangerment
Officers arrested a woman for child endangerment after responding to a report of a small girl crying in front of a PMHA apartment.
When officers responded to the scene, they contacted CPS, and a worker arrived at the home within the hour. Officers took the woman into custody for child endangerment.
