Workers at the SOMC ER called 911 at 2 am to say they were treating a child who had been assaulted by their parents just before 2 am.
Deputies responded to the child’s home and the hospital. After investigating, officers asked dispatch to page a CPS for assistance.
When officers spoke to the agency, they said they would call in a supervisor, and shortly thereafter, a supervisor conferenced with offers on the scene.
