Child Assaulted in Wayne Hills
A woman approached an officer at Speedway at 5:30 am to report that her daughter had just been assaulted in Wayne Hills.
An officer spoke with the girl, who said her head was injured and that a fingernail was ripped off. The mom told the police she would transport the girl to SOMC for medical evaluation.
An officer headed to the hospital to get information for a report.
Suspect Tazed, Hospitalized
Just before 7 pm, officers and EMS personnel responded to a report of a man having a seizure on 10th Street.
However, that call took a troubling turn, and officers deployed a taser to get the man under control before an ambulance transported him to the hospital.
The man was later booked into the Scioto County Jail.
Roach Injury Prompts EMS Call
A horrifying injury for anyone scared of bugs. Just before 7 am, a Robinson Avenue caller requested an ambulance due to an injury caused by a creepy crawler.
The caller said a roach in their ear was causing bleeding a pain.
Man Assaults Wendy’s Employee
Another incident of violence against business employees in the Gallia Street area.
This time, officers responded to a report that a man assaulted an employee at the Wendy’s restaurant. The man left the scene before the police arrived.
