Child Removed From Drug-Using Grandma’s Home
Portsmouth Police Officers assisted CPS workers with a sad family situation just after 5 pm.
CPS workers requested two officers stand by while they removed a child from a Portsmouth home. The child was in the care of their grandmother.
Sadly, CPS workers said they believed the grandmother was using drugs. The woman had run from CPS before, and the agency wanted officers to watch the front and the back doors.
Workers removed the child from the home and arranged for another family member to take custody.
